(I told you had lots to post)
So while in Utah I had the opportunity to go up to Salt Lake City and teach a quick class on Make Up. It was really fun but kinda intimidating. The class was extremely quiet and I’m sure they had no idea what to think of me… lets not forget how funny I am. I had one girl in the back laughing….she was the only one. Bless that girls heart.
Thankfully I had Brooke there to be my model. The pictures I posted of her earlier were from after the Make Up class, MINUS the red lipstick.
Anyway thats all for now. Check out how awesome my facial expressions are while I work.
While in Utah last week I got to do a really fun photo shoot with one of my besties from hair school. I like to call her Alice. She just turned 12 and so I decided to do a really colorful, fun, birthday related photoshoot.
Im EXTREMELY happy with these photos. They’re so cute.
And of course I did the hair and makeup as well.
(P.S. she didnt just turn 12…she just turned 24.)
Happy Birthday Ali. Love you to bits.
Wow. I have a lot of things to post but lets start with Brooke.
Ive been spending a lot of time with Brooke over the last 2 weeks. She and I were room mates back in the day. Now she’s married and has a 2 year old daughter. Lots has changed in 5 years.
This week I stayed at Brookes house in Orem, Utah while my husband went up to Park City to work. We had lots of fun.
We, or actually I, decided to do a more modest boudoir type photoshoot . I think they turned out really beautiful.
I was going for the more natural look this time with Brooke. She doesnt like to wear lots of makeup. I figured we’d just enhance her beauty this time without going extreme. I also wanted to try the lighting with the big window in her bedroom.
Im very happy with the out come.
Over Christmas break my sister and I felt creative and collaborated on this photo shoot together. We were going for a Peacock inspired look. I think we succeeded.
Our first idea was to do the pictures outside against the sunset but Vegas decided to not cooperate weather wise and we ended up doing the photo shoot inside my garage. Luckily my husband, being in the cinematography business, had all the lights and back drop that we needed.
Anyway, my sister did the Photography and Hair, while I did the Make Up. Ill always remember this shoot vividly, due to the fact that I backed into my husbands parked car taking our beautiful Model home.
Not cool.
